Zero-g is a term used to signify weightlessness, where weightlessness is what a scale were to read out if you were to stand on it in free fall. Zero-g is subtly different from the complete absence of gravity, something which is impossible due to the presence of gravity everywhere in the universe.

Yes, the rover Curiosity has nuclear power however the rovers Spirit and Opportunity are solar powered.
