Redsn0w 0.7.2 update version Follow the steps. (This help version is not mine. But it is from Isurf. Say thanks to him once.) - Make sure you have iTunes 8.2 installed - Download Firmware iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw (google it) - Restore iPhone to Firmware 3.0. by holding shift and click on restore, find the firmware file mentioned above and click open. If you need to back up all your things click "Backup" - Download Redsn0w and unzip. - Open redsn0w and find the firmware file downloaded on step 2, click next and follow steps to the letter. The point is to enter DFU successfully so that the jailbreak can be installed on the iPhone. Try as many times as needed until you get it working.

That's not right. You can restore the firmware 2.2.1 still having BB 4.26.08.

I haven't seen any one using 2.2.1 but BB 4.26.08 said they are sucessful. If I missed it, its my fault. This is what the first statement in the ultrasn0w blog. "Ensure you have upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0"

You meant to say new firmware. Once JB, you cannot update your firmware, cause it will lock it again. If it gets locked again, then you have to start all over with redsn0w and ultrasn0w. Between, what is current firmware now and iphone model ?

Hey Guys - I have a 3g 3.0 unlocked phone. I am still not able to add a blue tooth device such as headset. Also I am not seeing my PC (BT enabled ) on list of bluetooth devices. It keeps on searching for blue tooth devices. What should I do, if I want to use a handsfree with unlocked iphone 3g.
