Thank you for this article. I will be reading "The Horror Junkie" next, as it sounds like it may be similar to my own journey. I very much enjoyed the movie Paranormal Activity (it remains the scariest film I've ever seen), but I have since questioned whether viewing it was the right decision. My church has adult classes that educate on various topics of theology, church history, and the supernatural. Since their "Angels & Demons" class I have thrown out the few horror movies I owned ("The Ring" was my favorite movie for quite some time) and stayed away from the genre altogether.

"Be thankful that you get to watch this living legend play every Sunday."

He's incredible - meaning that if I was in football fan in a coma for the last six years and didn't know who Peterson was and you described him to me I would think you're not a credible person.

Did you notice his tackle after Ponder's first INT? It was magnificent, and he nearly stripped the ball away.

1) That Halloween costume picture made me smile. My wife will tear up when she sees it.

2) Speaking of my wife, your vids like "Cassel whifs block" and "Brady can't find helmet" are just the things that keep her interested enough in football to watch with me on Sundays. Good work there.

3) This is my first year as a subscriber and I did not know you're a fan of Manchester Orchestra. ME TOO. Good taste.

Minnesota was very close to winning that game in Indy, and there are several small things that could've changed the outcome if they had gone differently. That said, they struggled against a poor JAX team at home and had only two field goals on offense against a Detroit team without an outstanding defense. Sure, the Vikes played conservative all game long (just about), but these are things unwise to ignore.

I'm a Vikings fan and have been waiting patiently to see them in a Super Bowl (born in '81), but I've got some healthy pessimism for a team that's broken my heart many times. Their brutal schedule the scond half of the season will keep my expectations low even if they end up 7-2 after 9 games.

Jamarca Sanford didn't start week 1 or 2 - I think he came in partway through the week 2 game because of injury. He's on pace for fantastic numbers, but it's a small sample (2.5 games).

FYI - This looks like last week's "believe it or not".
