WMPoweruser.com : HTC Tera passing through FCC

This thing is garbage. Smaller screen, barely faster processor, 4 ROW keyboard instead of 5 (HTC keeps losing buttons, the Touch Pro had a 5x12 keyboard while the TP2 has a 5x10 keyboard), lower resolution screen.

MUST they record it in some really dark room with a crappy camera? Is it so hard to just turn on the lights, use a decent camera and make a decent video?

Then why are you using Windows Mobile? That is the only reason to continue using Windows Mobile at this point. It requires the most soft resets of any smartphone OS and you know it.

Stop being a blind WM fanboy. Android has everything us WM people love - the ability to do what WE want. WP7S is taking that away.

The Droid has its share of issues. I bought and received a Telus Milestone (GSM Droid) on Monday and while I like it, it had two pretty big flaws. 1) The noise cancellation is too strong. You have to hold the phone near flat on your face or your voice gets canceled as background noise. 2) I found a speck of dust under the glass but thankfully just to the side of my screen. Since one got there, I'm sure more will find their way in. There are a lot of people complaining about these two issues. I put my Milestone aside and went back to my Tilt2 until I get the Nexus One. Once I have that I will decide which of the three devices to keep. Nexus One Advantages: Navigation Ball, Snapdragon, HTC Sense, 3.5mm jack Disadvantages: No keyboard, screen issue Milestone Advantages: Keyboard, better processor than Tilt2 , 3.5mm jack Disadvantages: Keyboard is not as good as Tilt2, dust and voice issues Tilt2 Advantages: Very nice keyboard Disadvantages: Ancient processor, no 3.5mm jack, WM which is getting stale and is a dead-end.

C&P is already in the OS, they just choose not to include a way to do it in their new shell. Apple realized they made a mistake and put it in. Microsoft now thinks the right thing to do is take it out?

WMPoweruser.com : Windows Phone 7 series – the bad news

It can "pull data down" but it will not be able to play music in the background and probably will not be able to make use of GPS (the point is to save battery, so why would they let a program that isn't truly running waste resources with GPS). You just don't get it. I will NOT be able to do what I stated earlier. The great news is Google just released the Nexus One with AT&T 3G bands! I am seriously considering it.

Streaming music from the internet, not from your device. That requires the program to constantly run. So does GPS tracking. I would have to close it to open messaging or take the call (not just be notified about it.)

No, not according to what they have said. That means I will have to close the music streaming program to launch the running program, and if I get a call or a message while running, it will interrupt it and stop recording because it can not run in the background. I do this on my 6.5 phone right now with nanoGroove and Run.GPS

Listening to streaming radio while using a GPS tracker program to track my run and still have the ability to take a phone call or read an important message without losing the other two.
