Boarding School Blog : 5 Reasons why Americans Choose to Board in Canada

#4 caught my eye - I had no idea that US universities are increasingly classifying American students as international if they're studying in Canada. Is this a relatively new consideration? I imagine it must be a compelling reason for US students to strongly think about Canadian boarding schools. Thanks for sharing the post. Great info.

Celina, I'm sorry to see that you didn't make the finals. I thought you had it; the judges loved your work in the semis. Either way, congrats on an amazing run. I need to get to KC to try your food. Cheers, Peter

Boarding School Blog : Reflections on Choosing a Gap Year

What an interesting spin on the Gap Year, Cory. Is this a long standing program? I can't say that I've come across a similar program on a boarding school campus. Nicely done.

Thanks for the heads up on the headline. We corrected the typo - appreciate the feedback. I actually spent the afternoon on campus- what a fantastic spot. I was extremely impressed by the school and its offerings.

Boarding School Blog : How A Prep School Rivalry Became A Long Term Grudge

No, I highly doubt it. From what I understand, aside from football (& baseball?), the schools compete in other sports, but given their differences in size (student population), it's probably not too likely that they'll meet on the football field. This is a fun piece of history that the folks on the WA Mash unearthed. Always interesting to dig a bit to uncover the roots of old school rivalries. Thanks for asking!
