I have no idea why anyone would TD this. Any person who would voluntarily take a polygraph is screwing themselves. They are pseudoscientific garbage and can never help you. Look at exactly what's happening here - are the police really looking at anyone but the mom now? What if she didn't do it? (and I don't think she did.) If you are a parent and your child disappears, or if your spouse ever disappears (especially if you are a man), you better hire the best team of lawyers and private investigators you can, because chances are very good the police will not be looking for anyone but you.

This happened to me, too. I was driving home from college and asked for $5 worth (it was 1994!). I literally had 3 $1 bills and $2 in change. I owned no credit or debit cards. The guy filled my tank and I didn't figure it out until the guy inside told me the total was more than $20. I about had a heart attack. Long story short: they were mean, refused to siphon, threatened me, then I called a friend who paid them over the phone with a credit card. When I called the BBB, the guy was horrible, mean, and scolded me that, "It sounded like they did you a favor!"

Wholeheartedly agree. I would also add that people need to face the fact that TAXES ARE NECESSARY to run our country. It's ridiculous and delusional to expect to have infrastructure, services (fire, police, etc.), educated and healthy citizens, and compete in the global economy, with even lower taxes than we have now. The people screaming the loudest about their horrible tax burdens are using services paid for by taxes, just like everyone else.

Eh. I'm no prude, and I have no problem with the bracelets or the word b00bies. But if it really is a bunch of 9th grade boys who wear them because, "heh heh heh this says b00bies!" then I have no objections to a rule against them. If any of the wearers can express a single fact or statistic about breast cancer, I would be surprised, but would be more inclined to allow them. And yes, there is an extensive history of breast and other cancer in my family.

Me too. 25 years ago my grandparents had a tansy problem and we knew it would hurt or kill the cows if they ate it. And this is so bizarre! I hadn't thought of tansy in years but my husband and I were talking about it last night. I was telling him about how creeped out I was as a kid by those yellow and black worms that feed on tansy, and he told me they were Cinnabar moth caterpillers (they turn into red & black moths) and they were specifically introduced here to eradicate tansy.
