The Portland State Unversity bookstore is a not-for-profit indenpendent bookstore, has been for 60 yrs. They are not paid by the university or funded by them. The flood was caused by catastrophic failure of a water system tank outside of the store. Feel free to blame somebody, just not the bookstore.
gee, did you think those trucks were pumping out the 100,000 gallons of water that fed into the store due to city/state error? I guess they should have just left the water down there. Oh, then you would have complained about the air quality due to massive mold build up. It must be nice in your blame free world.
so you shop online or at a retailer as opposed to a non-for-profit? Way to support your local community. BTW, the bookstore is not owned by the university in any way.
