<title>Big Government : Google Buzz Privacy Flaw Snags Another Victim: White House Deputy CTO Andrew McLaughlin</title>
<link>http://biggovernment.com/capitolconfidential/2010/03/30/google-buzz-privacy-flaw-snags-another-victim-white-house-deputy-cto-andrew-mclaughlin/#IDComment65268496</link>
<description>A small note: McLaughlin was mistaken. The list Buzz displays does not consist of people you email most often. It consists of people you&amp;#039;ve emailed WHO HAVE ACTIVATED GOOGLE BUZZ. Hardly surprising, then, that most of the people on that list would be Google employees. They&amp;#039;ve probably been using it internally for some time before public launch. This article rests, then, on a misconception. As was clarified during subsequent discussion, many of these folks haven&amp;#039;t communicated with McLaughlin in years. The anonymous contributor of this post about transparency may be able to work several years at a company without making a single friend. I guess McLaughlin is more sociable. </description>
