The following is a comment left by, well, their user name says it all, on the site to register for the march on Washington 9/12/09.

“You guys are delusional to think that you were ever in the majority, silent or otherwise. As the country progresses, voices like yours will die. You people represent the past. Conservatism, by its very nature, always loses in the end. We will have universal health care. We will have gay marriage in all fifty states. It’s inevitable. And many of you will end up supporting these measures and hope that no one remembers when you opposed them. It’ll be a miracle if 50,000 show up to this tea bagging orgy. 21st Century America, love it or leave it!”

If this doesn’t get you riled, I don’t know what will. We might get weary but we can’t give up.

I love this idea…it reminds me of the candlelight vigils we held after 9/11. If you don’t know them already, it would be great to step out your door, look to the left and to the right, to see which neighbors are out there with you.
