Awesome. I love hearing from agencies that are in tune with current technologies and trends. The need to be able to touch and communicate with clients in their preferred manner is critical in today&#039;s environment. Thanks for sharing.
Rick Morgan Consulting- Talking Head : Mobile: Trends in Insurance

Having your website function properly on a mobile device is good but not the optimum tool. What do people need in an emergency? Access to information that will help them with that emergency. I believe that agencies should have one or more apps that address the needs of their customers. What to do in an auto accident. How to pay my bill. Get an auto ID card on screen. Issue certificates of insurance for commercial accounts. We need to be catching up on fast forward.

Insurance Ecosystem : Microsoft Tag vs, QR Code

Mary, you should read The Now Revolution. It is an awesome book on social media and its application to the business world. I am only 1/2 way through it but consider it the best such book I have read. I love your business cards and I think they are a great example of the use of this technology. Thanks for your comments.

Pat Alexander : Meeting Famous People You Don't Know

Jay, you are so very welcome. I seem to be making it through the book at a snail&#039;s pace which is not my usual style. And I haven&#039;t even opened any of the QR codes. A lot to digest but so very helpful. I am recommending all of my clients to read your book. A book review will be coming soon I hope. It is so very rare that I carry a book. They are usually all on my Kindle or my Kindle app on my Galaxy Tablet. I bought in hard copy as I believe I will be using this as a reference text a lot and I like to make notes and mark with tabs when used in that manner. Thanks to you and Amber for writing such an awesome book. Pat

Pat Alexander : The Value of Who I Follow on Social Media

Nibby, thanks for comments. You are correct that you can get to know people very well through social media and working with them online. In the converse, I have eliminated people totally from my feeds because of attitudes, language, constant advertising, etc. No way I am snoring at you. You are too funny.

Craig, thanks for your 2 comments and all the new people for me to look up and check out. I will also be checking out InjekTwit as well. It looks interesting. I am a sucker for most any online software app. I have taken a quick look at your most recent blog. Very appropriate topic. I will be back to it in-depth soon. By the way, I have an industry blog <a href="http://insuranceecosystem.com" target="_blank">http://insuranceecosystem.com</a> where a variety of people blog. I&#039;m always looking for communicators looking to have additional audience. Let me know if you are interested.

WebWisedom : Reader Comments - Why is Social Tech so HARD?

Mike,__I agree with so many of the comments that have been made. When I talk about social media to the group of folks you are discussing they sometimes look at me like I have 2 heads. I think many of these individuals in the insurance industry just don&#039;t see how it can be beneficial to their business.____To repeat some of the previous comments:__1. They think it is non-productive__2. It means change and they are not willing to make changes__3. It takes planning, desigining and implementing a strategy and processes(They have NO time for that)__4. They think it will just go away.__5. No long term vision of how the next generation of buyers get their information.____My current experiences with clients are:__1. They see the need and engage me or someone else to help them with a plan and implementing a plan, or__2. They don&#039;t care to discuss it.____Great post, thoughts &amp; questions.

Mike, so interesting that you would post this. I just recently post a similar blog a <a href="http://thttp://tiny.cc/e16vf" target="_blank">thttp://tiny.cc/e16vf</a> I am surprised that you say your are an introvert as I certainly didn&#039;t perceive that in our one meeting. Most people think I am an extrovert and sense no fear or nerves when I speak. But it is true. Glad to know that other successful speakers have the same thoughts and feelings. Thanks for sharing.
