thirty five hundred pounds? No thanks! Seems to me like this is the V6 version of a pony car: under-tired, overweight, and overworked.

Speed:Sport:Life : S:S:L Guest Drive: Driving the All-New Chevrolet Volt

I don't care if you're girl! I'M a girl! It does seem like no one really knows how the Chevrolet Volt is as a car. From the first takes that I've read, it's as if other automotive journalists also had a crew of GM's engineers with them. I want an automotive writer to see how far the Chevrolet Volt will go on a tank of gas. I want there to be a chaperone engineer too. I want the engineer to panic once the car indicates it's low on energy/fuel., and tell the writer that they must refuel. I want the writer to laugh at the engineer, and suggest that the engineer live a little, because together, they're going to find out what the Volt can do. And once the engineer has felt the exhiliration of seeing how far the Volt can go on empty, I want the writer to ditch the car and the engineer and thumb it back home. That is journalism at it's finest.
