here is a novel Idea. Why dont the both of you go to the church tomorrow and see for yourselves. I am not trying to be negative, I am serious. See for yourselves what is going on in that little church. Are you not a little curious? I know I am. I think their service is at like 10am. People are good to talk about the church in something like this, but how many people take the time to see what is actually going on. I think I will check them out. my interest is peaked now. Maybe I will see you guys there.
i agree yikes just keep in mind there are those in the church that are upset on both sides. not everyone supports this man. they are struggling with it. it is not that they are hiding things as much as they want make sure they do the right thing. that is not always clear. i believe he did it but for now it is still only allegations. his potion in the church and school does make it difficult
Dont sweat it Mrmoneypit, the defense is trying to deflect and intimidate the girls in this case. He is trying to scare them that no one will believe them. I dont think the DA would have taken the case if it was that bad. Have trust and have faith in the children in this. Matt 10:26
Did he do the right thing? If so, why has he left Ricketts in the church? Why are the girls not in the church? He is really willing to risk the safety of the children in his church? I am sure he is a good man and a good pastor, but what kind of man leaves a man that may be a molester in a church where he can harm more children, there are what...3 or 4 girls? If you had a daughter, would you feel safe with this man still attending YOUR church? I suppose the questions could go on forever. I am not so sure that Pastor is doing the right thing.
that was not a wish, that was a fact, Mr Ricketts has resigned from the school as of thursday. I am suprised people do not know that, I knew about it before the media, but after the media announced it, I figured more would know.
Mr Ricketts will NOT be returning to Fairfax Middle school.
In regards to that incident 2 years ago, lets not forget the others that helped cover it up, such as the Sheriffs dept. while I agree that the superintendent was wrong, let us not forget the others that refused to do the right thing. Also let us not forget the victims involved in this horrible thing. How can others do anything, if the very government they work for, refuse to do the right thing. The sheriffs office covered up (and I know more who did also) for this man. One cop looking out for another, who cares what the cost is. The superintendent was the least of the ones we should worry about. What about the ones sworn to protect, question is why did they stop investigating?
Anyway, my point is that there is a lot more involved in the whole ugly mess, lot more people involved in the unfortunate mess. My prayers go out the the victims and the families that are being torn apart by all of this. I just think all of them should be accountable.
