The Wild Hunt : Can Barna Unite the Tribes in time to save America?

Barna has co-wrote another book called "pagan christianity" in which he blasts the modern evanelical church as too pagan. Amongst the pagan elements: Sermons are out. Tithing is out. Wearing special clothes ot chruch is out. Professional clergy is out. Having church buildings smacks too much of temple worship. When he gets done his idea of church is not half bad. Its a spiriatul party that is free form, very charmsmatic.

Is this the same dude who writes books on the Aga Khan's connection to world terrorism and Ismaili cooking? http://www.amazon.com/Ismaili-Cookbook-Secret-Rec... http://www.amazon.com/Aga-Khans-Billions-Assassin...

The Wild Hunt : PanGaia Ends, Merges With NewWitch

I find it strange that with the numbers of pagans out there and with a group of folk who are susposely highly literate cannot support the publications of a few national magizines. It just goes to show that the saying "get 10 Christians togehter and in a month you will have a church, with 10 pagans in a month you could barely get money for beer and pizza."

While I read PanGaia with interest over the years, I found New Witch to be too fuffy, unless there is an improvement they lost my readership

The Wild Hunt : Saint Death, Non-Pagan Easter, and Anti-Witch Hysteria

The christian holiday of Jesus's resurrection was not named Easter until contact with Germanic pagans. At the very least they stole the name.

The Wild Hunt : Pondering Post-Christian America

There is a growing Evangelical movement called "Emergence" which embraces POst_modernism. It is mainly a youth movement and is towards the left (save abortion but they refuse to make it a litmus test for politics);

Manson was not an occultist, he was more an off-beat apocalyptical christian with a dash of "Strangers in a strange land".

The Wild Hunt : Who Has the Greatest Investment in Christianity's Pagan Past?

Barna's book however is being used by left evangelicals associated with the Emergence movement so the process is not all "bad." His earlier book was called "The Revolution."
