Big Hollywood : Chief Obama Defender Jon Stewart Takes on Breitbart

Wrong. Fascism started under right-wing Mussolini in Italy, then spread to Germany, Spain and Japan. It has always been characterized by nationalism, militarism and corporatism. These are all components of RIGHT-wing ideology. The use of the word socialism in the Nazi party's full name is a complete perversion of the word. If you want to accuse Obama of socialism, you've at least got something to base your argument on. But calling him fascist is absurd, particularly in the context of simultaneously calling him socialist and communist. I suggest you read something other than Jonah Goldberg's oxymoronically titled "Liberal Fascism" if you want to know the true history of the far-right movement.

You rabid Breitbart defenders really think Obama had something to do with an L.A. school calling St. Patrick's Potato Day? Lighten up--Stewart's a talented satirist with a devoted following. He's like Limbaugh in some ways. One big difference, though, is that Stewart WILL attack those on his own side of the ideological spectrum. Limbaugh only attacks conservatives when they break with right-wing orthodoxy, such is the ideological strait-jacket he miraculously fits himself into. And bottom line: Breitbart's just not very articulate.

Big Hollywood : Letterman: Another Intolerant Robot for the Left

Jennings: "O’Reilly isn’t phony. His ratings have topped #1 for 100 months in a row. This takes hard work and authenticity." By this logic Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell are the most sincere and genuine people on TV. Dave's always been a jerk, and in his long career has had occasion to make almost everyone angry: white, black, left, right, gay, straight, and apparently even middle-aged conservative white guys still seething over the last election.
