Actually I heard this afternoon that WLAV will continue playing Tigers games. It makes no sense! Two stations playing the same program (1330AM & 107.3FM) and WLAV still plays Tigers games. WTF????

It is obvious this will not work. News radio is on the same sinking ship as news papers. The internet provides current information quickly minus the BS banter from idiots like Bill Simonson. It was a move driven by money. When this decision begins to lose money, KLQ will re-emerge. In the meantime, we're left with WGRD....God help us. They kick off with the market's worst morning show and then follow up with Pearl Jam's greatest hits for the rest of the day.

I agree, KLQ's now former brand of radio will come back within 6-8 months. WGRD is the next best choice and they are terrible. Their morning show sucks and then you listen to the same 8 songs for the rest of the day.
