Antiwar.com Original Articles : Obama's War Signals

just f anyones i, http://www.politicalcrossfire.com/forum/viewtopic... politcal opposition to israel is a hate crime. note: I had a longer post there but I erased it. It wasn't that great anyway but I wish I had left it because it was kind of amazing. it was about being margenenlized and losing your standing for speaking out about israel, so the topic was moved to a lesser area or margenalized, then I was suspended!!

the problem is not all of iran wants to be free. no I don't mean the pro israel version of free envisioned by neocons, I mean many people in iran seem to be perfectly happy selling their votes to Dr A in exchange for oil welfare. hey Moses, what's the big deal. we stay here we get free room and board and 3 meals a day. who wants to walk around eating manna in the desert? the hugo chavez "populist" political machine is likely to remain strong as oil becomes more expensive and scarce

the hardliners are having a tough time defending the shootings of the protesters. it looks too much like gaza. they are retreating to conspiracy theories and "dont' foget how bad the zionists are"

micahel totten, known mainly for being heckled by his own fans for defending lebanese civilians during that war, has been on a tear at commentary. he posts there infrequently but has been posting several topics a day pretty much unable to control his excitement, not surprsing as he is a man who has made a blogging career out of making mountains out of molehills (not that his is a molehill mind you). He usually has terse factual responses if any to commenters but he has been filling the coments with gusto, even insulting the likes of myself a few times for disagreeing with his various asessments,

I think john mcCain and eric cantor just said we are all iranians or something. I'm not kidding. I hope I'm not tehran Bob here. I mean if there is some sort of revolution happening that'd be great, it's just that everything I know about iran tells me that this election's results make perfect sense and alot of liberals and neo cons are going to have egg on their face. they might even declare war to cover up their embarassment

i'ts georgia /ossetia all over again. another "revolution" with not loud and western media friendly people getting their rear ends handed to them by larger powers they should never have tangled with in the first place.

Antiwar.com Original Articles : Anti-Americanism in Israel

the lobby have a number of memes that don't really work. kind of like how the right wingers throw various "outrages" against the wall to see what sticks. Michael Oren had this thing a few weeks ago, these 7 reasons to attack iran and one of them was that a nuclear iran would mean people wouldn't want to move to israel or something. I mean, as opposed to now when it's so safe. this particular idea should have been kicked around a little before it got to the public, I think it would have been jettisoned pretty quickly.
