I dont have a problem with allocating grants to get dangerous drivers off the road. There isnt a good fix for the money wasted everytime someone with a cell phone calls to complain about someone crossing the fog line. Officers have to respond. I also know that they catch a lot of drunks that way. The problem I see is the people driving as bad as the one they are following while on the the cell phone calling to complain.
I have RAD children. True agressive behavior may not be associated with RAD, when combined with other issues aggression is right up there. I also adopted mine. They are twins. They were in 13 foster homes before coming into my life at the age of 18 months. Their biological mother never held them. They have no compassion. The little boy hurts animals or destroys things just to see what happens. I won't blame all their issues on RAD but because of their need for attention weither it's good or bad attention makes it very difficult to work on their other issues.
Why would I call KIDK for the truth. They will tell you their side only and spin it to make them out the good guy. A good example is to ask me if I am a nice person. I will say I am and if you don't believe me, just ask me and I will tell you so. If you want to know the truth you need to ask someone that has nothing to gain in the outcome of the answer. And you need to talk to more than one source Then try to make an informed decision. I am sure there are just as many people will say I am nice as there is to say I am an a**.
For all those that say they won't ever watch KDIK again, you are supporting them everytime you log into their website to complain. Boycotting has to be 100% to work. If CBS comes back that would be nice I will watch. If not I will survive. Advertisers might want to reconsider the amount they pay to reflect the customers that live where we can't get locals without Dish that no longer see what they have to offer.
DirectTv doesn't carry the locals because they don't feel the market is big enough in this area to justify the cost. Eventually as technology advances they will have locals. They just don't forsee it anytime soon.. It doesn't take too much work to research most of these issues. What takes the most work is deciphering what the person is saying. When Kidk is talking they spin it to fit them. When Dish is talking they spin it their direction. So on with Cable One and the other networks talked to. That is normal for people. So I took everything I was told and added it together to try to determine what is really happening. Bottom line KIDK wants more money than the other affiliates in this area That is their right Dish only wants to pay what they pay the others That is their right For KIDK to compare themselves to be as valuabe as the Cartoon Network is rediculas Cartoon Network doesn't interrupt my childs programming with commercials.
I have done more investigation of this matter and have decided that I will not blame the advertisers as I have mentioned before. My life is not ran by television so I will wait for the reruns on A&E for the shows I missed. I have discovered that it takes a lot of surfing the internet to watch CBS shows on-line. I am too impatient to do that. I think it is ironic that KIDK says that networks in other markets have had the same thing happen to justify their actions. So that means that they new before they started that Dish would not accept their offer and would drop them.
Granted there will be a few people in the Cable One market that will change from satellite to cable. Might even be a few that just can't do without CSI that they might even pay for the cost and inconvienience of a roof top antenna. But the reality is most people switched to Dish because of price, reliability and service. Locals was just a bonus. I don't believe that a customer that is paying for premium channels will leave Dish and go to a rooftop antenna just to watch a channel that before they only watched a couple of hours per night at most. I personally gave up on the local news on all channels since I moved to Pocatello. The unprofessionalism and onesidedness of major issues just couldn't hold my interest.
This is tckiss again. On my pc instead of the wifes. Just wanted to clarify I am not picking on CBS or Todd Kunz. Fisher communication is the one who makes the decisions. I will still watch my favorite shows It will just be on-line.
