They most likely have to close because their permit with the Forest Service runs out. At least that's how it works with the large resorts up in Eagle/Summit County.

Waiting until 4 hours after it starts.....Anyone know the budget for the plows in this city?

"Boulder spokeswoman Sarah Huntley said city crews were prepared for the storm, but plows and sand trucks got stuck in traffic, just like everybody else, after the first round of accidents, which started around 3 p.m."

What a joke......If they knew how to go out BEFORE a storm started, maybe it wouldn't get so slick out. Amazing how big cities in the Midwest seem to never have this type of problem.
