Thanks for everyones support and thank you again for the people that were there helping. I could only imagine what it would have been like when all this was happening.. I wish I was there. By reading everyones comments it helps me better understand what exactly was going on that day. Oddly enough it puts my mind and heart at ease knowing that there was nothing he couldve done. It was just his time to go and it always seems like the good ones go first. I will be showing this article to his Mom and the rest of the family.

This young man is my cousin, his name is Ryan Brova Lu. I dont know what happened out there last night at the river but I know him very well.. he is one of my closest cousins. I believe this was just a freak accident like Mhilton stated. Ryan is a very responsible, good kid. He is in no way the type of person to do anything rash and extreme like jump into a river if he was aware of the dangers. He knows he is not a strong swimmer and since it was a very hot day, I could see how him and his friends wanted to take a dip in the river. He was just simply uninformed. What happened to him can happen to anyone. I want to thank antoine and anyone else that tried to look for him. He will most definitely be missed. Rest in peace Brovz.
