You are just as likely to cause harm to another person by driving a nail as you are by driving a car. I've known of two cases where allegations like that were a conspiracy. One from a guys ex-wife trying to clean up in a divorce, and another by a guy that was trying to destroy a dude that his wife supposably fooled around with. There's probably several people doing hard time that are totally innocent, and alot more doing time on charges that were extremely exagerrated in the police reports. I think they should make a full and fair jury trial mandatory in sex abuse cases, instead of allowing prosecutors and lawyers to play the plea bargain game. All it takes is one phone call to ruin someones life completely, and alot of upset and emotional ex-spouses/ and ex-girlfriends know that.
