(cotinued) from above What about the BILLIONS to help people stay in their homes????? Once people fall behind its A long ROLLERCOASTER ride trying to get a modification some people never get the trial payment option and once they fall behind most banks wont take partial payments and the debt starts to pile up.O.K. get a less expensive place(UMM markets down cant sell house for what you owe) short sale? sometimes; what so they can try to find something more affordable GOOD LUCK and they short sale or get foreclosed ; what so the bank will allow another person or family to purchase that same house for less than half what the owner owes? or an investor buys it up and rents it out? HMM? I see a problem put one family out so to let another move in at half or less? what about the family that just lost it? sometimes people JUMP WAAY too fast to judge or have ALL the answers until you or your family have been in this situation have some compassion for those people and families losing their homes on a daily basis!!!!!!

WOW!!!!! a lot of you people should be ASHAMED of yourself for passing judgement on people!!!!! In case many of you havent looked around this unfortunately is a huge problem and has been for a few years and is still growing. People everyday losing their home due to the down economy. I agree there are some people out there who are looking for a free ride sort of speak ,BUT there are MANY MANY more who are in desperate need of a modification in order to keep there home. Property values have dropped extremely, prices for our everyday living expenses keep going up , beyond our control jobs are ending, businesses closing, and people fighting to keep a roof over their heads for themselves and their family its all they have. Some people had asked for help before they got into trouble and denied because they are current and cant get help until they fall behind.
