She would sit out there on the edge of the field and wait for it. One day my dad saw the "dog" come up to the fence where she was sitting. He saw that it was a coyote, but he didn't yell, he just watched. And that coyote would just sit on the other side of the fence from her and look at her. He wouldn't get close enough to be touched, but he seemed to like her. After a bit, he'd trot back to the forest. Instead of putting trash in one receptacle, I put sorted recyclables in another container. We have it good here. I don't mind paying for the services.
