Ahhh doesn't that just make you feel so sorry for these papers owners??? Have they considered that IF they were more than mere press release agents / printers for the government maybe people would be willing to pay for information? The last true investigative reporting on government crimes was Nixon / Watergate. and nobody will convince me that between the Clintons, Bushes and Obama and his minions their is nothing to investigate and report on. Gee whiz has Obama appointed anyone with out a legal / tax problem or on the take in a previous life ie Larry Summers? TV news is the same, they might investigate a "bad" business person but hey people in government no way. Some "hot" reporter or reporterette has a story idea and what do they do? go and interview the approriate government agent and that's what we get fed. Sorry but you people wasted your money on your education if all you are going to do is re-print government press release. So now after 30+ years of ignoring crimes committed by our "leaders" they are whining? Here's a hint if you want to matter and I'm not even going to charge you a huge consultant fee. Stop kissing every elected officials backside and start holding them accountable, that is what the founders had in mind with the first not your printing of press releases for the government!
