<description>Sir, you make a point that is true. I actually pointed out the high success of the film yesterday. In addition what i was comparing were the films that dealt with the military in present day War on Terror situations. That said, it was kind of you to take the time to read my post (even though your views may differ from mine). I am flattered that you would even take the time to respond to what i posted. If I may take moment to point out, if one were to discuss grosses in general, then one cannot ignore that in terms of adjusted for inflation; the grosses for the pro-freedom/ religion (Christianity and Judaism specifically) films Ben Hur (767 million) and The Ten Commandmnents (1.03 billion) beat out Avatar (761 million).  </description>

<description>I have noticed that slowly (rather slowly), but surely, there is starting to be a shift in film making (even though the elitist power in hollywood is doing everything it can to stop it). Ms. Govindini Murty of &amp;quot;Libertas&amp;quot; has noted the shift (slowly as it is) in Hollywood that is taking place. Here are some recent examples:  1. Indiana Jones IV: The hero must battle evil Stalin era Soviet Communists who attempt to aim to take over the world. 2. SALT: this movie seems to suggest that Joe McCarthy was right. America has been massively infiltrated by Soviet era Communist sleepers with the intent of taking down the United States 3. Mission Impossible IV: Heroic covert American operatives save the world from a fanatical foreign terrorist (though not jihadist) DESPITE the highly irresponsible actions of the President (who happens to be Obama) 4. The Transformer series: a clear allegory for the War on Terror that has the heroic AMerican military (along with the Autobots)saving the world from destruction and enslavement. In addition, the Bush Administration is portrayed positively while the Obama Administration is not.  5. Battle Los Angeles: US Marines save Los Angeles Iraq War style form an alien invasion 6. The Expendables: American based mercenary team take down Somali pirates, A Hugo Chavez/Fidel Castro clone, and an American sympathizer who claims he has &amp;quot;the vision&amp;quot; to support the Latin Dictator.  In Addition: Peter Berg finally got Universal Pictures to go forward on his adaptation of Marcus Lutrell&amp;#039;s &amp;quot;Lone Survivor and CBS films is working to adapt Vince Flynn&amp;#039;s American Assassin&amp;quot;. Therefore change is starting to happen. Not at the pace that we all would wish (NOT EVEN CLOSE), but it is slowly coming.  </description>

Eventually she learns some life lessons FROM THEM. = Aren&amp;#039;t Southerners supposed to learn by following the examples of the New York elitists?  5. The show even goes as far as to treat Christianity positively with dignity/respect. At one point, the cynical/secular New Yorker nearly ends up doing harm to the community due to asumptions she makes about the town minister based on her cynical/secular attitude. In the end it is the people of faith who (both kindly and forgivingly) school her. = Aren&amp;#039;t Christians supposed to be the masters of intolerance will be defeated or saved by the great secular elites? </description>

For example:  1. The beloved mayor of the town is an inteligent and likable African American sports star who feels a strong conection to both the town and its people.= What? No Racism?  2. The uptight/antagonistic Southern Belle character is also shown to be the loving glue that holds her family together through multiple hardships = Aren&amp;#039;t Southern Belles pure evil who care for nothing but themselves? 3. One of the male leads is a good-hearted well respected lawyer who became disenchanted with living in New York and chose to return to his southern roots and reconnect with his community. = Aren&amp;#039;t people supposed to run from the South to places like New York or California for a better life? <description>In slight defense of 24: I can see how one or two seasons of 24 strayed from its conservative roots (seasons 5 and 7) but overall it would rebound back.    1. Season 6 has Jihadists torturing Americans and nuking American cities, Russian Terrorists longing for the days of the communist Soviet Union lending a hand, and Communist Chinese trying to take advantage of the aftermath (a couple of americans assist,but are not giving the orders) and numerous Democrats who are either a) well meaning but incompetent or b) self-righteous, manipulative, and back-stabbing.    2. Season 8: Jihadists are attacking because America IS ACTUALLY achieving peace in the Middle East and the Jihadists are enraged by it (televised killings, attempting to blow up hospitals and set off a dirty bomb in NEw York) . Russian Government portrays itself as moderate and sensible to the public and the media but are secretly cooperating with the Jihadists to undermine/sabotage the United States. Iraq War vets are portrayed as heroic/honorable individuals who do not regret their service and continue to combat terrorism. Finally, politicians appeasing enemy governments and turning their backs on those who defend our country for the sake of politics is presented as abominable (Hint to Obama). </description>

This show is able to deal with people&amp;#039;s preconceptions of Southern people and turn it around to reveal depth and real dimensions. For example:    1. The beloved mayor of the town is an African -American former sports star (who is highly intelligent and reasonable). What? No Racism?    2. <description>It was interesting how Magnum Force dealt with the issue of vigilante cops and still remained a rather conservative film. For example, Harry has no qualms about firearms themselves or the use of them. In his words &amp;quot;Nothing wrong with shooting as long as the right people get shot!&amp;quot; He has no problem with shooting hold up men, gangsters, and hijackers. True he does not do it in cold blood, though he does push the limits a bit. He even understands and to point sympathizes with the motives of the rogue cops. What makes these rogues villains is that in their attacks, they also kill numerous civilians and cops without any regret. This is what makes Harry spring into full &amp;quot;dirty&amp;quot; mode. The movie even goes to great lengths to show that there is not a department wide conspiracy, but just four impressionable overzealous rookies who are being molded by a fed up pacifist officer. Again Harry sympathizes with his frustrations and motives, but not actions. All of these factors push the film into a center-right direction.  </description>

This movie where American Covert Operatives (and according to the first film, IMF is a highly elite division connected to the CIA) are portrayed as courageous and honorable; fanatical foreign terrorists (though not jihadists) are revealed to be threats that must be taken seriously; the President (who happens to be Obama) is shown as willing to ignore this threat and instead target our operatives as the terrorists for the sake of politics; and the general dishonesty of the media is directly addressed has made 670 million worldwide so far. Remind me again how pro-American films do not do well. </description>

This series, starring conservative great Kelsey Grammar, gives us an in depth look into the very political machine that gave rise to such figures as Obama, Rahm Emmanuel, Bill Ayers, and the Daleys. In doing so, the viewer gains a beter understanding of the Obama Administration and the mentality they live by. In this series, we witness how the politicians of this world are venom filled, power hungry (and sometimes groveling) manipulators who will betray or destroy ANYONE in the name of maintaining or expanding their power; while seducing the public with speeches, smiles, and looks. Their spouses are dangerous oportunists who are less in love with their spouses and more in love with the power that their spouses can bring them and will overlook their faults in exchange for more access to that power. The Bourne Identity: A film where the threat comes not from terrorists, but from the CIA who work to install dictators of their choice until they are no longer useful, train assassins who end suffering from disorders (like headaches and sensitivity to light), and are willing to target civilians without hesitation.
