<description>it&amp;#039;s not like the kids threw plastic into the ocean which breaks down into tiny pieces that birds and fish think are food...  even a broken bottle, which btw is made mostly of sand, has sharp edges rounded out by the waves and sinks to the bottom.  and the paper and cork biodegrade as they are natural materials.  if these materials were made of plastic, we&amp;#039;d have a lot more to worry about. </description>
