When you apply to be in the QT audience you are asked to declare your political leanings, this is to ensure a balanced audience for the debate.
I ca';t believe you believe that QT does not have any Tory voters in the audience!!
Yesterday's BBC offering had no balance whatsoever, even with Justine Greening, who is not a Tory MP, she was sacked by the Party last year and stood as an independent in the 2019 GE,

You forget that the Blair Govt was seen as Tory-lite hence the reason the hard left hate Blair and Blairism so much.
The left has always viewed Blair's Iraq actions as those of a right-wing administration bearing in mind he worked hand in glove with the Bush Republican adminstration.

How much longer is the Tory Party going to put up with the clear Toryi-bias antics of the BBC?
Yesterday, we saw yet another example of Tory bashing hwere '2 concerned Mums' were wheeled out to condemn the Tories 'going back to school' policy, yet it turns out both women are Labour supporting left wing activists: https://order-order.com/2020/08/25/revealed-bbcs-...
A complaint to the BBC merely produces a generic response declaring the BBC is 'impartial',,,,,,,,,,,, blah blah blah

So you have never heard of the EU Stability & Growth Pact? https://ec.europa.eu/info/business-economy-euro/e...
Why do you think Nacron is having to make deeply unpopular cuts to pensions etc? http://www.rfi.fr/en/france/20191120-european-uni...

Ever changing technology and comsumer habits is the 'big beast'. The BBC audience share has been falling for years and public apathy towards the BBC is clear with over 100k non-payers fined last year, that is just the ones who have been 'caught', just how big is the non-payment issue?
The criminalisation process, that costs more through the courts and associated costs, simply enrages more people rather than make more pay up.
As the lead article states, it not a case of will the BBC change but when and by how much, a mere tinkering around the edges will not be enough to satisfy public opinion. .

So are you saying the UK should align with the EU in for example Workers Rights on Maternity Leave?
The EU level is 14 weeks whereas in the UK it is 52 weeks.
Uk Holiday entitlement at 5 weeks 3 days is higher that the EU mandated 4 weeks
The UK Climate Change Act far exceeds any EU equivalent/
Perhaps the EU should align with the UK! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-eu-referen...

Indeed! The EU 'success story' the Single Market was a UK (Thatcher) driven initiative to build on the Common Market concept yet some 30 years on the SM remains incomplete as the federalists push the political federal Europe agenda.

The EU, aided and advised by a sucession of Remainers, never believed that it would come to BREXIT Trade negotiations. Hence the reason the EUcrats insisted on a WA being negotiated first. They believed the Referendum result could be nullified and the UK signed up to Theresa May's underhand BRINO deal whereby the UK would remain in a Single Customs Territory, a euphemism for a Customs Union. Leaving the UK trapped in the same position as Turkey.
However, with a firmer hand from Boris and his team the WA was amended and the phrase Single Customs Territiory has been deleted.
We are about to see how if the EU is serious about negotiating a Trade deal or intent on making a strong political statement to deter BREXIT contagion.
The EU has very few actual Free Trade deals https://ec.europa.eu/trade/policy/countries-and-r...
Of the deals the EU currently has in place several have been rolled over for the UK post BREXIT: https://order-order.com/2019/09/11/uk-agrees-post....
