He hasn't a clue how to use any of it yet, but we are taking the time to teach him. I read an article that there are plenty of jobs in the Technical Vocations, but companies are having a hard time finding qualified Machinists, Welders, Machine Operators, and Engineers. These are well paying jobs in the $50,000 to $110,000 yearly range. Where are all of the Engineers? They are in India, China, Korea and any other country that is kicking the U.S.'s butt in the High Tech industries. The U.S. is graduating more Liberal Arts majors... Art Majors... Lawyers, Sociologists , and Community Organizers than skilled Scientists, Engineers, and Math Majors. The reason there isn't anyone working in America is because a Lawyer doesn't know how to operate a Plasma Cutter. The government has restricted small, and large businesses to accommodate the small, but vocal environmentalist movement to the point that it is unfeasible to do business in the US. Add to that the mandate to overpay workers imposed by unions and "Prevailing wage" restrictions force companies to hire illegal aliens, or move their factories off shore. Instead of trying to make things worse by imposing communism on the country start by telling government to lower taxes on the citizens that make the jobs that feed the people. Tell the government to lift the oppressive weight of restrictions that make it almost impossible to start, or run a profitable business in America. Demand that the oppressive taxation on the working person not be used to support the freeloaders that won't work. Demand that the government not tax the workers to the point of starvation. You occupiers are blaming the very people you should be supporting.
