Yes, we both have that capability. What you don't have is an imagination for the enemy we are currently fighting. Asymetrical, cowardly fanatics who kill innocents by any means. That was the underlying cause for 9-11. Furthermore, calling this a dry run is not a stretch either.

Nice -40 rating, you must be always right. The Army and USMC of today are doing more than has ever been asked of any US military force. Our boys in WWII got to England in mid 1943 and returned, for the most part, before mid 1946, so you can shove your "official war" right up your tail pipe. I've got 5+ years in combat zones and I will refer to our enemies how I see fit. These are filthy animals that we are fighting and "monkey" is being kind.

3 months after the Sep 11 attacks, the "Shoe Bomber" attempted to light the fuse to his shoe on a plane. He did this from his seat and fellow passengers smelled the smoke and stopped it. Then in 2009, with their "Lessons Learned", the "Underwear Bomber" attempted to light his bomb in the bathroom while approaching Detroit. He spent 20 minutes in the bathroom and passengers jumped him when he came out, covered in a blanket and smoldering. Fast fwd to 11 SEP 11, two middle eastern looking men are both getting up out of their seats in turn and also spending an inordinate amount of time in the bathroom, also in Detroit, and on 11 SEP. This lady was sitting with them and also looks middle eastern. Bottom line, these two men were indeed probably in a dry run and yes, she was in the wrong place at the wrong time At the very least, these guys were stupid to be acting like that, on a plane, and on that day.

Your wrong on all counts, bozo. Check out the interviews of the gate agents who checked in some of the 9-11 terrorists. These Arabs displayed all kinds of suspicious activity. 4 of 5 terrorists on AA flight 11 triggered the computer system for extra scrutiny. However, Political Correctness stopped the agents from going the extra mile and that is a mistake they will regret for the rest of their lives. These guys were so suspicious, they almost looked comical to the gate agents. It was funny right up until they started cutting peoples throats. Using the word "Gomer" indicates you were in the Air Farce. I was US Army Infantry. Fought in Panama, Desert Storm, Bosnia, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. In other words, shut your pie hole.

In Germany if you hunt wild boars, you have to have them inspected for radioactivity. Seems the Chernobyl fallout got absorbed in the trees in Germany, the trees drop their pine needles, the pineneedles compost and grow mushrooms, and the boars eat the mushrooms. Glowing boars are apparently easier to see in limited light. Anyway, if this type of chain can happen, then burning this debis and stirring up the fallout can not be good.

I agree that in his enthusiasm to fight domestic terrorism, the Bush administration helped turn us into a police state. However, the Patriot Act was legally passed. That is not what we are talking about here. We are talking about brazen graft, bribery, and outright stealing of tax payer dollars. They used "economic recovery" to justify racking up unimaginable debt and then the politicians fight over who gets to steal it. As far as the distinction between think and feel. Liberals "feel" while Conservatives prefer to "Think." That is the distinction. As far as Valerie Plame, was she a covert agent? The answer is "No", she was a overpaid secretary who liked to rub elbows with Liberals. Liberals only believe in National security when they "Feel" they can whine about a Republican. Where is the Liberal outrage with the leaking of 90K secret documents last week? Oh, that is the freedom of the press. Hoax and Chains brought to us by the lemmings of the nation. By the way, I believe in the concept of citizenship offered in Starship Troopers. Serve in the military and then you get to be a citizen. I have 24 years, how about you?

A "less than lethal munition" means police shot him with a rubber bullet or bean bag, perhaps a rubber bullet right in his bean bag. At any rate, it sounds like he didn't jump, but rather was shot off the perch. Sounds like a typical police abuse where the ends justify the means. I don't like the porn culture, but I do recognize a police state when I see one.

Posse Comitatis only applies to troops under Federal jurisdiction (Title 10). Any governor could call up his National Guard under state status (Title 32). However, it is the Federal job to protect the boarders; they have the monopoly. Bottom line, it is all smoke and mirrors from Obozo. He can call up troops all he wants, but they can not be used in an effective capacity. The Democrats have no intention of curbing the flow of their future voters. I believe the answer is to criminally charge people who hire the illegals. If there is no work, they will not come here.
