I just made a rhubarb pie last night with lard. I used Farmer John brand; it wasn't piggy at all. Unfortunately it did have BHT and Citric Acid added. I'm not very familiar with lard, so I can't say how much that affected the final product. Also about 15% of the pardoned who had traveled abroad returned to the US. I read that Gerald Ford had created a clemency program for draft dodgers, but it only accepted 15,000-21,800 of its 350,000 candidates.
