OBAMAFAILBLOG : Scuba-Ready Jobs? Obama Touts Intercontinental Railroad!

Well, first off, thanks for reading and commenting. Secondly, I think the gaffe here was that Obama confused the terms "trans" with "inter." By definition "WE" couldn't build an "inter" continental railroad. We would need some help and cooperation. Since this was a chest-thumping Alinsky-style speech to show how great America is (something Obama does not believe in), we can be sure he was thinking of "trans" and saying "inter." Finally, I don't doubt that you are correct, but I can't find evidence of this intercontinental railroad anywhere. What is it called? I found a good deal of articles about a proposed "Pan American" railway to South America from the archives of the NYT and Time Magazine, much of it dating back to 1900-1925. But nothing about a completed intercontinental railway - unless it is a series of railways connected to the South Fuegian Railway? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Fuegian_Rai... Please let me know - I'm intrigued!

OBAMAFAILBLOG : ObamaCare Update: Small Business Employees Will Lose Coverage (And That\'s a Good Thing?)

Wait until the ObamaCare waivers expire (after 2012 election). And, in case you didn't know it, ObamaCare doesn't take effect until 2014. What we are seeing now is the tip of the iceberg. By the way, who's payroll are you on?

OBAMAFAILBLOG : Opinion: Eight Reasons Why Obama Won\'t Run in 2012

Interesting take. I disagree, but it's interesting to hear so many different opinions about why he may not run. Personally, I think Obama's ego allowed him to seek the presidency without any qualifications and without a second thought. I think the reasons I outlined above would be more than enough to make him consider an early vacation/retirement.

I see your comment now. Again, many thanks. Please feel free to post links to your posts in the comments section or on the facebook page, ESPECIALLY any Obama-themed posts. I may not have time to get to reading all the links, but it makes it easier for me and it will hopefully get you more readers. And that goes for any other conservative blogs.

Many thanks. What started as a fun experiment has grown into a hobby. I hope to keep OFB going, but I'm going to need some more feedback via comments, links and Facebook Page views. It always helps to know people are reading this stuff! Where did you post your comment on HotAir? I looked through a few posts but I didn't see it. Thanks again and have a Happy New Year!

Big Government : What If the FCC Had Always Regulated the Internet?

This day is here. While Obama dithered on dealing with Assange, the UN has sprung into action - http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/12/17/un-inter... This is typical of Obama. He does nothing in the face of a national security threat. He lets someone else take the blame or the reigns, depending on the situation. In this case, the UN will take the reigns and Obama will bow to their decision. Somewhere in all this, it will be said that it is "for the good of the children." It's already happening in the UK: http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/218412/Blocki...

"The FCC ignores the standalone Internet because nobody but academics, scientists, and some government bodies go there." In other words, the government won't regulate an industry if the government is using it. As soon as individuals get involved, an industry becomes a target. Once private business gets involved, it's only a matter of time.

I admire President Obama too. If someone so unqualified and ideologically opposed to America can become PRESIDENT of the nation, then ANYONE can do ANYTHING. Think about it. Time machines, humans flying by flapping their arms, man-made global warming, peace in the Middle East. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE NOW! Thanks Obama!

Big Government : Even After Shellacking, 2012 Looks Okay for Obama

Nonsense. Obama is a stubborn ideologue with limited social skills, just like his father. He has failed consistently since taking office and he will continue to fail - when he passes legislation it is bad for America and when he doesn't, it is also a failure. So, how exactly does 2012 look okay for Obama?

I'll put it in simpler terms: Once you start to see wind turbines dotting the landscapes of Iraq and Afghanistan to power our military bases, green energy will have been developed to the point where the rest of us should give a flying f*** about it. And they're ugly too. So there's that.

Don't forget the seizures caused by wind turbines. It's kinda like the black lung, but you don't have to spend 20 years working in a mine to get them. Hope! Change!
