What all you supporters of these full body scans & inappropriate touching patdowns are forgetting one very important detail and here is that detail. WE HAVE A CONSTITUTION AND IN THAT CONSTITUTION GIVES US THE RIGHT AGAINST UNREASONABLE SEARCHES but I guess that all of you would rather be reactive to something then proactive. We are the only country in the world that uses these tactics not even the country that has to deal with terrorist threats on a daily basis subjects their citizens on this degrading process it's time for level minded people to take back this country from the nuts who have been running it for the last 50 yrs.
can the city of portland become anymore of a joke. when i was young i would go out every summer and pick berries & beans but chavez comes to oregon and raises hell and all the kids who were picking berries & beans to earn extra money were thrown out of the fields because of him i don't hold chavez as a good person he might have helped one part but he and his organization hurt others. I HOPE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE AGAINST RENAMING 39TH AVE WIN IN THE END CHAVEZ SHOULD NOT HAVE A MAJOR STREET NAMED AFTER HIM.
I will say if i could vote for a recall of Sam Adams I would he has done nothing but brought disgrace to himself to the city of Portland and to the state of Oregon. Portland & Oregon don't need Adams. I URGE THE PEOPLE OF PORTLAND TO RECALL SAM ADAMS THE CITY WOULD BE BETTER. I WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND RECALLING RANDY LEONARD.

I say keep Rudy because of his show gave an excellent showing what he can do and that he has a tremendous upside to his game. Mr hedo doesn't have that upside to his career anymorre he is at best at his peak time so a 5 yr deal for him is a waste of money especially at 50 million bucks. Rudy yes Hedo for a lot less than 50 million ok but Rudy should be 1st on the list to keep happy between the two players.
there goes the portland mayor trying to take the focus off of him blaming someone else for something that he is at fault for. when will the people of portland say enough is enough sam adams has to go he is a black eye for the city and the state. I have even seen people complain that all this scandal around adams is because he is gay and that couldn't be farther from the truth all this scandal is because adams has lied he has avoided answering the hard questions. when adams can be a man and stand up for his mistakes the right way maybe he will get some credibility back but not until then.
The city of Portland or the metro area shouldn't have a bigger voice in the state of Oregon than any other part of this state. Portland & the metro area is arrogant in that they think they should say what happens in Oregon. i believe the state of Oregon's capital is in another city not in the city of Portland & if Portland wants a louder voice at the state capital then maybe you should get a new mayor & city council. It's appalling how arrogant Portland is.
