1.) Spitz is a rude, mean, and self obnoxious. By that I mean he is bothering Buck while Buck did not do anything to to him.
2.) Well, Francois and Perrault , seem to me like bad people but in this chapter a sudden change happend, like for exaple when francois helped Buck by killing Dolly.....who has hydrophobia.
3.) Buck becomes more braver throughout the book and thats what really makes Spitz mad.
4.) Buck has a better body now it is more fit that it was. For exaple his brave side, his stronger teeth, stronger bomes, bigger muscles, and thicker fur.

Once Buck had realized that the man with the club is in control of him he couldn't do anything for himself.:'( Before he was givin away to these strangers he would do anything he wanted and also he used to be in control of everything in his owner's home and its surroundings. Now that Buck isn't in control anymore he has to do what the man with the club commands him to do.
