Everywhere on our property beyond the patio is a "Falling Tree" area. I will try to have all the dead trees cut down before they fall on our family. Outside of that, I think we'll just have to take our chances. Houses can fall on people too. Ask the W.W.O.T.E.

Thanks- but the photo is deceiving. There are many brown patches that are present. They are the result of fungal disease (called, fittingly, Brown Patch) caused by prolonged moist weather.

At $2.00 a bag for compost, I'm staring to wonder if the $18 I saved by composting was worth it. It took over a year to make the stuff- including maybe 20 hours of turning/wetting compost with a pitchfork in NC heat. That green can is starting to look better each day.

I used one of your worksheets last week as a review of atomic concepts. It was a grid with # protons as column headers and # of neutrons as row names- students had to write the symbol with correct atomic # and mass # in each box. Students were successful and liked the change of format.
