Oh, and marijuana should not be used for social "partying". It is a drug, one that has side effects of short term memory loss, not to mention the expence that could be better spent on other things (like food and cloths for the kids).
Short term memory loss can be bad for students who need to remember thier study material. Smoke pot, you won't be at your best when you study or learn.
I'm ok with medical marijuana though. Strictly controlled by the police who should be aware of a legal site in thier area. So no abuse occures.

Hi,
Drug dealing from retail outlets is common. Here in Oakridge, almost every retail buisness has someone dealing drugs out of the place. I'm in the process of contacting corporate offices about some of these places, and the others the police are aware of, i made sure of that.

Hi,
I don't like saying it myself, but 90 is too old to be driving.
My wife is almost 70 and i will be taking over driving from her soon. I just don't want her driving anymore. Maybe someone should have been driving for that poor woman.
I have seen way too many accidents caused by the elderly. Reaction times are just too slow.

Pray for all those involved.
The police do a great job around here. The town is full of tweekers who think they own the place and who speed through town all the time. We have people come up from the Eugene/Springfield area just to get or deliver meth. I support our police officers 100%. They have a tough and almost thankless job to do. I'd like to see any one of you who critisize them would do the job they do. bet you can't because your an enabler, who would rather have anarchy than a peaceful community without meth.
Keep up the great work OAKRIDE POLICE DEPT, I support and a lot of others support every thing you do.

Hi,
Does not surprise me for Oakridge. The place has serious problems including widespread meth use. If the people of Oakridge would quit enableing them, the propblems of meth, murder, rape, child molestation would be dealt with and go away. OAKRIDGE, quit enableing these druggies and perverts!

Yo, so what are we supposed to do? Let people blow through here at 100 mph and just let them go cus gee, he isn't a danger to others, or himself? He was a danger to others, he was a danger to himself. He payed the price for being a stupid S**t. Proly a lame tweeker going to his dope house. I have no simpathy for him.
And gooseman, you probably never spent a nickel in Oakridge anyways, too busy speeding through town to stop I figure, so we won't hurt by your empty threat.

I don't think there was any problem with the police chase, it lasted 5 mins tops. He (the motorcycle rider) came into town going that fast. The police chase started after he blew though here going 90+. The driver of the motorcycle is at fault. Anyone coming through here that fast on a motorcycle is either stupid or wants to die. Oh, and as far as "speed trap", we have pedestrians that walk along a hwy that out of town speeding fools think they can blow though and not get caught. I support our police, not speeding jerks.

Hi,
I live in Oakridge just off the hwy and I saw the motorcycle going at a high rate of speed past where I live (at the time stated). I wouldn't say it was going 110mph through town. More like 90 mph. Anyways, I saw the motorcycle and said to myself "gee, that ought to get the police attention" and just then the police car lit up and went past where I live. 5 minutes later the EMS people lit up and went down the hwy too.
