im wondering if its still possible to downgrade an iphone 3g on ios 4.0 to 3.1.3 using the following steps : download redsn0w 0.9.4, download the 3.1.3 ipsw for the 3G, and donwload the 3.1.2 ipsw for the 3G. Restore to 3.1.3. (custom restore or DFU mode restore) then run redsn0w and point it at the 3.1.2 ipsw (you will remain on 3.1.3 when done).

i had this problem on my iphone 2g 3 or 2 yrs ago, i have no bluetooth and no wifi, it said unavailable next to both and couldnt click on them, i restored and tried everything possible but nothing worked, oh and also my texts and calls were messed up, if you call me i dont get your call till 3 hours later or when i press homebutton... long story short my fix for this was i opened the iphone and changed whats to be known as "signal card" which contains hard drive and eveyrthing, and i was good to go!

Brilliant app, so far the only thing that beats it is "Cylay" and thats because if some1 tries to shutdown the phone it doesnt allow them to do so, and it has better tracking as well but it costs mean after the trial

Hey guys, i just thought i should share this program with you guys, its called "ilocalis" and it protects your iphone just in case its stolen, you can track it, make a backup of your contacts etc... lock your iphone, start an alarm on it and many more things, i have the basic membership which is free and good enough. check it out ;)

if you have at&t then just go head and do what venusanann said as an at&t sim card can activate your iphone, if your with any other carrier than you will need to activate your iphone in some way, as in for the file to restore you will need to download one, say 4.0 and then use shift + restore... as well as the tinyumbrella server has to be up and running

i've had this problem with my 3gs, it takes me to the background and nothing happens. clear your cache, history and everything on safari, then do a reset holding both homebutton and lock button at the same time till your iphone reboots, your not going to lose any data whatsoever. after this simply go back to the website and it should work good luck, let me know how it goes

I assume your jailbroken which means you have to be on 4.0.1 or 4.0, im guessing 4.0.1, i dont know why this happens but tinyumbrella catches the shsh for the next firmware that came out after the one you have installed on your iphone, i havent figured out why it does this yet but you can still save shsh for 4.0 or 4.0.1 if you havent restored yet you could give it a try- it worked for me enter in ur ecid, select device and request form cydia, then hit reset and then save my shsh, thats how i did good luck
