I love Sarah Vowell! and her most recent book "Lafayette in the Somewhat United States" is great for those who love Hamilton (and even if you do not)

I loved Never Have I Ever and it also hit pretty close to home.

I'm currently reading Jamaica Inn by Daphne Du Maurier! I only just started but it's so atmospherically creepy and I'm into it. (I've read Rebecca several times and love it as well)

the author of that article just released a book about a lightly fictionalized version of the Manson murders! I read a review copy and it is good. The Girls by Emma Cline

oh I love this one and relate to so much of it! I grew up Catholic, somehow got into an evangelical group for a few years in college, and am now nothing really.
