I'm on prepaid. You have to activate your data plan by sending a txt to 1155 with the word wap on it.

I found it and it is pretty simple:
For data all you have to do is enter the APN in Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data Network
Restart your phone
and it should work for you, it is working for me now

I'm sure this has been asked one thousand times, but I haven't been able to find a clear (fools proof) answer. Please give me some advice, this is the scenario:
1. 32 GB 3GS (New bootrom) jailbroken with blackra1n and unlocked with blacksn0w
2. Version: 3.1.3 Baseband (modem firmware): 5.11.07
Question:
How can I update the version to 4.0, 4.1 or 4.2 (any of those, whichever you recommend) without loosing the jailbreak or unlock? I do have the SHSH blogs saved but have not idea of what's that.
Thanks! and have a great day!

I'm sure that this has been asked a 1000 times, but I haven't been able to find a clear answer (maybe I'm not asking the right questions). I'll appreciate any help.
I have a 3gs iphone, 3.1.2. 5.11.07 jailbroken with blackra1n and will like to upgrade it to ios 4.01 but don't know how. I have gone through the iclarified tutorials with no luck.
Another thing is that the iphone is not detecting any wifi signal, even after resetting the network settings.
Thanks!
