a common curiosity in the south of ireland is that a great many people have a grandfather who was in the old ira, but very few had any relatives in he old ric.

no, the problem stems from the fact that this guy is a lardass and expects complete strangers to take care of his health. his story doesn't inspire pity, it disgusts. he showed up at the hospital to hang around and get in the way for a while, only to discharge himself and then go running to the tele with his non-story.
it is the wasters like this, and those that don't turn up for appointments (only to go around wailing later that the doctor didn't do anything for them) that are the problem. pathetic. i hope he's another one who picks up his p45 come next elections. maybe he could take up jogging.

an even smarter motion would have been getting on with the job of sorting the mess of a city that is belfast out and leaving this kind of business to the professionals. a friend of mine recently travelled to oreland and was completely blown away by how amazing it was-except for belfast. they were abused, felt scared and didn't stay because it was a dirty pit. over to you tourism minister arlene

why do you people go out of your way to find offence in everything ever created under the sun? most of the postings and reports about the north are nothing but doom and gloom and make for depressing reading, and here someone comes along with an (admittedly, dumb) idea that is pretty harmless in its' essence and poom! out come the freakies.
most of you are being nothing more than hypocritical, because we live in a society that is based upon how we look, our clothes and image give out a message that other people react upon, and i would rather see stormont support this than continue to permit a society where it is deemed ok to go into city centre in your pyjamas, be unhealthy, and lie about your health status in order to receive benefits.
