I believe we should borrow but I shudder at whether or not our Government can be fiscally responsible enough to mae sure we pay back as at when due. Even worse, would Government officials use the borrowed funds to line their pockets as was typical with Abacha and co.? However, Nigeria has come a long way. Hopefully we have passed the era of brazenly stealing from the nation's cookie jar, even when the cookies are borrowed... Or have we?

We blame the Government for not providing jobs and society for not training her children aright. Nigeria's entire value system is upside down from Aso Rock to her Churches. Is there a solution? Yes. What? Good, principled leadership/a President that can help turn around a culture of gangsterism. Hopefully in 2011 it will happen. Amin!
