You know you're killing me, right. *g* I love your no holds bar, on the spot analysis. Everyone in the show is miscast except the possibility of the girl who plays Alex. When I saw the guy who is Operations, i groaned. Man, he is like the worst possible actor to pick for Operations.
The black girl had the most awful wig/weave…something…that I've ever seen on TV. It was driving me crazy just looking at the hairline and the part.
LOL. I thought she was going to die in this episode. For all of her talking, in LFN, she would've been a goner. And this is what I'm missing from this new show. The expectation of tension and suspense on whether the operatives will live or die because they crossed the line of some Section One protocols. What is the timeline? I think the new show is starting at the point when LFN's Nikita fell in love with Gray (CKR?) Michael and Nikita hadn't acknowledged their feelings. IIRC, Michael was jealous. So, me who's ever the optimist, will give the new actors time to build up chemistry or something. New fans to the franchise will probably think this show is cool. bah! T, did you have any problems posting here? Let me know. The IntenseDebate plugin is sometimes buggy.

That Which Lies In Between : Nikita is Back

I've been traveling a bit this summer as well as spending more time with the parents. In between, reading a lot of m/m romances. heh! Somewhere among my very old, old VHS tapes, I have a couple of R. D. films. It's going to be interesting not having him or Peta Wilson in the new Nikita show, especially RD. :-)

That Which Lies In Between : Syfy Stands Behind Caprica

You're quite welcome. There is talk everywhere in the Caprica's universe about the terrible ratings and possible cancellation. I wish they would stop. It all sounds so negative. I remember when BSG first started out. It was slow and gradual process before I fell in love with the series. I think Caprica is going to be awesome. I prefer characterizations over technology. Science fiction without the sufficient human elements is not good storytelling. I fear, this is where some of the problems lies. People forget technology was not the driving force in BSG. It was about people and culture, traditions and survival. True enough, surviving made the show heart stopping, sitting on the edge of your seat kind of story. But Caprica is different. I hope we learned more about the history and background, which I find every interesting. Thanks again for stopping by.
