Iran has a RIGHT to develop nuclear energy since they signed the NNPT. Santorum needs to make this declaration to Israel who has NOT signed the NNPT (not that they can sign anything binding because they are technically not a nation), stole their nuclear material and tech from the US and REFUSES inspections (Iran has complied with inspections.)

"Victimless crime"--yeah, right. Tell that to the families of loved ones lured to their ruin by the siren call of drugs. Same for alcohol - why don't they make that illegal? Actually, I hear what you are saying. If it was done RIGHT society would benefit from all these being illegal along with other vices. One major obstacle is that our corrupt government profits from the illegal drug trade INCLUDING importing the drugs. They want the malady to go on - they have no real interest in actually stopping the destruction. You have to be smart to get what you want. Rush said the way to get money out of politics is not to put up more laws against it but actually FEWER laws in general so there is no interest in bribing politicians. I can see an analogy with drugs.

Hey, I lived in PA and met the man several years back. He's a good guy and has the right temperament needed in an executive. Same for a lot of people. I'm certain most people who met Bill Clinton had the same impression. I really do like a lot of what Dr. Paul has to say but his wacky foreign policy really freaks me out. That makes no sense - take a few deep breaths and really examine your thoughts for a moment - are you letting people tell you what to think, perhaps? What is scary about a foreign policy of peace? Attacking Iran and fighting more wars for Israel somehow calms you? And what exactly is wrong with being Pro-Israel? If you want to be pro-Israel you should go there. Let's be pro-Iran instead. Why not? Why do you *feel* one is superior to the other?
