I think working within this infrastructure is the best way to get conservative candidates with nominated -- then elected. I really had faith that Ben Nelson would do the right thing for constituents in Nebraska -- and the nation. I always thought of him as a man of principle. But watching him cave to party politics made me realize that we just can't trust Democrats.
