I was right next to the shooting and saw the gunman waving that thing around less than a yard from my face. it was very uncertain if he was going to fire off another shot and who would have been hit if he did. The injured man was holding a small child too, who could easily have been the one hit. i can only hope the kid is not too traumatized. You guys can talk about economy and the oppression of the black man and politics and all that, but from where i was standing in the line of possible further bullets, that all didn't matter. All I cared about right then was the safety of my honey, me, and all those people there, period. My heart goes out to the guard's fiancee and family.
