I'm from a small town in Australia and thanks to this strike our trip to go back to the states has been delayed until this is worked out. So now my husband is unable to come and introduce his 1st child to his family. ABSOLUTELY devasted about what was the most anticipated trip our our lives. I just hope that when negotiations finally happen that everyone can be happy for the future so this doesn't affect so many people again. I just pray that your union doesn't use scare or blackmail tactics that push to far causing more job losts, as this has happened here. I understand everyone has to do what they think is best for their families, its just a shame it has to affect so many people.
