Can you direct me to any publication that can give me the understanding of what each prayer position means.

As you know, Imam Mohammed gave many, many lectures. You can find tidbits of information of the Imam explaining the essence of our prayer in many of them. In the Ramadan Session on 12-01-2001 though, Imam Mohammed covered this topic at some length. In the question and answer part of his First Sunday broadcast on 12-07-2003, Imam Mohammed gave explanation again. To get either of those references, you should check with Imam Mohammed's son, Wallace at WDM Publications. I do know that the CD, and possibly the DVD of Imam Mohammed's First Sunday Address can be purchased from WDM Publications (http://www.wdmpublications.com/online_store/cd/pa... It is entry E14 on WDM Publications website. I believe E14 is incorrectly dated there as 12-07-2004, and that entry is really for 12-07-2003. I have done a check of New Africa Radio (http://www.newafricaradio.com/archive/archive_2.h... looking to see if that First Sunday lecture is there, but my results were inconclusive. For the Ramadan Session, you will have to rely on getting that information from a close friend who attended if WDM Pubs, or The Mosque Cares is not offering it for purchase. Imam Mohammed gave these directives at the Ramadan Session in Chicago in 2000:

......If any of you have close friends that you feel perfectly comfortable with, share it privately if you want to with your close friend. But don’t circulate it, don’t give to somebody you don’t know, only somebody you know very well knowing that they will be comfortable with the tape of these sessions. We do not want to disturb anybody and we do not want anybody disturbing us.

As you are a student of Imam Mohammed, I believe you should be able to fiend a close friend who is willing to share.

Peace be unto you Mr.Lee X Slave. The open defiance of the followers of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad under the guidance of the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan is no secret and is known worldwide. It is a defiance that pop culture enjoys. It seems, so does the N.O.I. But the first pillar of Islam give no legitimacy to believing that Allah came in the person of Fard Muhammed as those under the guidance of the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan profess and defend. The N.O.I.'s concept of Fard Muhammad does not uphold the pillars of Islam but instead causes them to crumble. For that concept to be true, Al-Islam's foremost universal principle has to be taken down quite a few notches. Under the guidance of the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan, god at one point in time, was a human being, a white man, and he and those under his guidance have pictures to prove it. Engage the purveyors of alcohol and pork and wannabe Arab Negroes with the Qur'an and the Prophet's sunnah and you'll find them responding and even changing with time. But that would require scrutinizing their behavior and testing their allegiance to certain criteria that they also profess. If they say they are Muslims, then the criteria is clear.

"We do not force Our beliefs onto anyone, We simply believe what We believe, if We are in error Allah the Glorious the most High will be Our Judge not some student of a student."

How absurd. While we cannot force our beliefs on anyone, as humans we are required to make judgments. That is how we fail or make progress. Allah Alone is the Granter of respite. It is His power only. Iblis requested respite from Allah to prove his worthiness to rule. Even though Iblis said "Lord the power to grant respite is Yours alone". I know it is Allah's power alone to grant that respite to Iblis. I know this. But I still curse his ass. In time, the Fard Muhammad concept of being god in person will change and will be abandoned. Just like the other thought to be intractable principles of the N.O.I. have changed. Afterwards, all will hear, "All Praise is due to Allah". I bear witness : Allah, He is One. Allah is Eternal. He did not give birth to a child, And He was not born of a parent, And there is nothing existing like Him. Now that is real defiance. Peace

When it comes to the 5 pillars of Al-Islam, there can be no deviation. No room to wiggle. No heeing. No Haawing. Just open testimony. Our Prophet and example for living life is Muhammed Ibn Abdullah of Arabia. We worship none but Allah, Creator of the heavens, and the earth and all in between. Of Him we believe the Qur'an when it says: G-d, He is One. G-d is Eternal. He did not give birth to a child, And He was not born of a parent, And there is nothing existing like Him.

Note: There have been massive deletions and editing in this thread. An administrative mistake was made when I posted comments in response to other comments made by supporters Min. Farrakhan. That should not have happened. Admin comments will only be in response to posted articles or answers to questions concerning using this blog's features and any problems users are having with them. Also note, that the general purpose of this blog is to advocate the philosophy of Imam W. Deen Mohammed as detailed on this blog's 'About' page. One category that is listed but has not been fully taken advantage of though is the category "Let Me Get This Straight". That is the category that will be used by myself and any commentors wishing to correct what they perceive to be misconceptions.
