Nah, didn't work... ultrasn0w is still missing both packages
- Mobile Substrate >= 0.9.2976-1
- iPhone Firmware >= 3.0
Both only available in OS3.0..

Would be really cool if I didn't have to hack the debian packages - and for everyone else who unlocked their old firmware 3G in the same way.

Hmm, I'll have a look at that. But I don't believe that it'll make dpkg believe that the package "firmware" is installed in version >= 3.0.0 :D

Could you please tell the debian package of ultrasn0w to have less requirements? I used Fuzzyband's Firmware upgrade to install Modem Firmware 04.26.08 on my OS2.2.1 3G and now can't upgrade to 0.9 of ultrasn0w, because it suddenly depends on Firmware >=3.0 and a MobileSubstrate that's only available for OS 3.0. Pretty pleeeeeeease! :))
