Speaking to David Swindle: I'd like to bring up a point to the debate (and other social culture debates) that I haven't seen addressed. That is: why do those arguing against legalization of marijuana (not while driving) and abortion (of pregnancies that are early term, rape & incest victims, & medical reasons) act so high and mighty? I sense such a 'holier than thou' and condescending posture! So much judgment, so much attitude, - just so much lording over people. As if they are immune to the human conditions that create the situations that bring on these debates.

What bothers me about the pro-life crowd is that they also want to cut welfare and health care for the pregnant poor mothers. And then all of the kids in foster care and homeless that can't get adopted in America is such a sad and horrible situation. For crying out loud, if you want all these babies to be born, then help out in taking care of them after they are born. I'm not saying whether I am pro or con, I am "just saying." You are all a bunch of hypocrites.

My Hungarian grandparents, aunt and uncle, and little cousin were murdered in Auschwitz on June 2, 1944. Four days later the D-Day invasion took place but was too late to save them. My mother and her sister survived Auschwitz and the Krupps Munitions Slave Labor Factory in Altenberg, Germany As another uncle was being shipped by train in a cattle car to other camps including Mauthausen, he recalls seeing a German guard reading a newspaper that said, 'The Allies Have Landed!' He said, "Too bad it wouldn't help us." American Forces liberated my mother and aunt on April 13, 1945 after a death march, in Meerane. Very nice article that makes me want to see more of what Ben Shapiro has to say. By the way, there were all kinds of kapos during the Holocaust that did unimaginable things. But most of them, in my opinion, didn't have the power and position to be in the ear of the person in charge. Those special 'kapos' were really collaborators and traitors, like Kastner in Hungary, who was in the pocket of Eichmann. Maybe that is the category that Rahm belongs in. I can't really see him getting his hands dirty as a regular kapo. He's not taking out gold teeth, he's more like telling the Jews 'don't worry, you won't be slaughtered, just go quietly."
