Oh, I get it now; I was thinking she was referring to a WORLD that people accessed by using PCs, but in fact she was referring to the CREATURES which people in that world do indeed, access using PCs. And somehow I misunderstood her despite knowing all about the in-world PCs; I just never thought to look for another way to parse the sentence I guess?
