I've updated my iPhone in the past using instructions provided by the iphone dev team, but of late, I find it increasingly difficult to maneuver the site to figure out what I need. I realize that the iphone dev team do not want any money, but even so, I have always wanted to donate to iphone dev team. However, now when I have some money to donate, I find myself confused about how I should do so, because everything is so confusing now. I have the iPhone 3G, version 3.1 (7C144), firmware 04.26.08, jailbroken (a while back). All I want to do is update it to the latest jailbroken, unlocked software. Until I know for sure what I need to do, I have avoided updating using iTunes or anywhere. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
