Wow, does anyone else think this is a pretty good description of our founding fathers? They are basically telling law enforcement to beware of people who agree with the constitution! This government is amazing!

This is taken from the bill that was just past in congress: the "GIVE Act"

SEC. 1304. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS.
Section 125 (42 U.S.C. 12575) is amended to read as follows:
‘SEC. 125. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS.

(7) Engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of religious proselytization.

How is this not congress making a "law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"?

I agree with livealoha2, the home is the first place to start taking our country back. Teach your children the way they should go, and they will not depart from it. This is one reason we are home schooling our children. The gov't cannot, and indeed will not, teach our children the ways of God. Yet most people give up their children to the public schools! When we are young we are most influenced. That is one of the reasons for this new Americorps "volunteer" program congress just passed. They will teach the young how to ... fill in the blank, it's whatever they want to teach them.

What's funny to me (not funny "haha," funny "holy cow!") is that the gov't does not have a single thought about sticking to a budget, or being frugal. Obama and the congress seem to live like kings, throwing parties, and being flown everywhere with armed escorts. They are spoiled! They act like rich leaders and not a thing like servants! They are not humble but proud! They are not listeners but speakers! They are not wise but fools!

It's nice to see people of the same mind frame, and I would like to know what every thinks of this:

Every year, after the gov't tells us how much we owe in taxes, we can pay our taxes to non-profits instead of the gov't.

This would allow people to be in charge of what social programs get funded, and it also gives people the joy and happiness that comes with giving. I think it would change America in a way that we have never seen. It makes me happy just thinking about all of the people this would help while keeping gov't small and the power to the people!
